Valofirma – The Light House opens a service point in Turku

Valofirma – The Light House, Finland’s leading equipment service company for film and media productions, is expanding its operations by opening a new service point in Turku. The expansion strengthens Valofirma’s position within the growing audiovisual production sector in Western Finland and supports the region’s increasing international production activity. In recent years, Turku has emerged as a significant hub for film and media production, and Valofirma’s expansion responds to growing demand while improving the technical service capacity available to productions in the region. “Turku is an important growth center for film and media productions, and we want to play our part in strengthening the local ecosystem. Our goal is to bring more resources, expertise, and visibility to the area—and above all, to serve local productions even better,” says Jan Granström, CEO of Valofirma. The regional film commission also sees Valofirma’s establishment in Turku as a significant signal of the industry’s development. “Valofirma’s decision to establish operations in Turku is a strong indication that the region’s production field is now attracting even the most prominent service providers in the industry.
